CamCan & Co is more than a trade intermediary. We are an execution-focused advisory firm building trusted commercial corridors between North America, China, and Africa — starting with Cameroon. We help African businesses source reliably from Canada and China, while helping North American and Chinese companies establish a real presence in Cameroonian and West African markets.

Three Continents. One Vision.
I grew up in China, where negotiation isn't just a business skill — it's a way of life. Watching my mother build supplier relationships and navigate commerce from a young age taught me something most people only learn much later: the best deals aren't transactional, they're relational. Trust is the currency that moves goods across borders.
After building my life and career in Canada — now home for 12 years — I found myself sitting at a rare intersection. I had deep personal roots in Cameroon, firsthand knowledge of Chinese suppliers and business culture from growing up there, and a professional base in Toronto, one of the most internationally connected cities in the world. My mother's extensive network of suppliers and logistics contacts in China gave me something no directory or platform could replicate: verified, personal relationships built over decades.
The more I looked, the clearer the opportunity became. African businesses were struggling to find reliable sourcing partners in North America and China. North American and Chinese companies wanted access to African markets but had no trusted way in. The corridor existed. The demand existed. What was missing was a reliable, personal, execution-focused bridge.
That's why I launched CamCan & Co — "Cam" for Cameroon, "Can" for Canada. Not as a directory or a platform, but as a personal commercial bridge built on relationships, expertise, and a genuine commitment to making cross-border trade work for everyone involved.

Ivan spent over 20 years in China before making Canada home 12 years ago. With roots in Cameroon, deep personal relationships across Chinese supplier and logistics networks, and a professional base in Toronto, he founded CamCan & Co to bridge the commercial gap between three continents. Fluent in English and French, and proficient in Mandarin, Ivan navigates cross-cultural business negotiations with a level of authenticity and access that no platform or directory can replicate.
